The day of the showing arrived and, sure enough, we were the first to be on the property. We had settled on #3, so only had to look at that property.

 

The only drawback was the path to the water, a problem we will need to work on. Other than that, it was everything we had been looking for. We made our offer, and headed for home.

 

After losing the property and getting it back again, we moved  quickly to close, and two months after our vacation to look at land we actually had that land.

 

This new chapter in our lives is exciting, and we look forward to the hard work ahead of us.

Sidenote: Wisconsin was experiencing a severe drought in 2012, so the water levels were much lower than normal.
